Booking.com setup, about 60 seconds
You only need to do this once. It adds our existing account to your property so we can manage your rates, content and guest messages. It does not change who owns your listing, who holds your agreement, or who gets paid.
Please add each of the accounts below. Repeat steps 3 to 6 for each one, so more than one person here can help you rather than everything waiting on one inbox.
Primary contact
There is a second dialog that looks similar. It sits inside Manage primary accounts and does something quite different. It would make us a contractual account holder on your business, which is not what either of us wants.
These are the ones we actually use. All of it is reversible, and you can change or remove our access at any time.
| Permission | Tick? | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Rates and availability | Yes | Managing your pricing and calendar. This is the main one. |
| Property details | Yes | Updating your description, photos and amenities. |
| Reservations | Yes | Guest messages, changes and cancellations. |
| Performance data | Yes | Seeing how your listing performs, so we can report on it properly. |
| Promotions | Yes | Running deals only where they earn more than they cost. |
| Programs | Yes | Genius and similar, where the extra bookings are worth the rate. |
| Notifications | Yes | So we see Booking.com messages about your property, not just you. |
| Connectivity provider | Yes | Keeping the channel manager connection healthy. |
| Manage users | Yes | Lets us add a named account for a team member or for our automation, scoped to your property, instead of coming back to you each time. We will not remove your access or change your permissions. |
| Finance | Your call | Only needed if you want us checking invoices and commission. Everything above works without it. |
If you invite us as a New user, Booking.com creates a brand new separate login. We would then be signing in and out of a different account for every owner we work with.
Choosing Existing user attaches your property to the account we already have, so your listing sits alongside the others we look after. It makes no difference on your side.
We get an email and accept. Your property then appears under our existing login. Nothing changes for you. Your agreement with Booking.com, your payouts and your ownership all stay exactly as they are.
